Chevrolet Lanos is difficult to unambiguously attribute to any one segment. In terms of its dimensions, it is more suitable for the “stretched” segment B. The wheelbase of 2520 mm surpasses even the first Octavia with its 2512 mm between the axles. The space inside allows four adults to be accommodated quite freely.

Production of the model was organized at the Zaporizhzhzhya Automobile Plant in 2003, and the car entered the Russian market in 2005. The sedan was a copy of the Daewoo Lanos (1997-2002).
